1. Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small browser records that can be sent with website requests. Local storage saves records on your device. SQL Practice Ground and its service providers may use essential authentication cookies or similar session mechanisms, and the website uses local storage for account sessions, theme preference and locally recorded solves.
2. Essential and preference purposes
Authentication storage keeps you signed in and supports secure account access. Progress storage remembers solves on the device and can merge them with your account progress when you sign in. Theme storage remembers your selected appearance. Practice filters can be stored in the URL rather than a cookie.
These records are not intended to build advertising profiles. This policy does not authorize optional advertising or analytics tracking; if such tracking is introduced, it will be disclosed separately and consent obtained where applicable. Loading fonts or other resources from third-party services may also send ordinary connection information, including your IP address, to those services.
3. Storage duration and controls
Session records remain until they expire, are replaced or are cleared. Theme and local progress records can remain until you delete them using your browser’s site-data controls. Signing out may remove authentication records but does not necessarily delete locally stored practice progress.
You can block cookies or clear site data in your browser. Doing so can sign you out, reset preferences or erase unsynced progress. Browser storage and server-side account records are different: contact us to request account data deletion.
